Knowlify Review

What is Knowlify?

Knowlify is an AI video company that converts written content such as documents, blog posts and ideas into narrated, animated explainer videos for business use.

On the self-serve platform, users upload content and create videos through a chat-based editing interface, with AI handling narration and animation to produce a finished video in minutes.

For teams that prefer a hands-off approach, Knowlify also offers a Studio service, a done-for-you option where its production team writes, animates and delivers videos with turnaround as quick as 72 hours.

The platform targets business communication needs including internal comms, employee onboarding, training, learning and development, marketing and customer education, and it serves regulated and complex industries such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing and nonprofits. Notable customers cited include Amazon, ByteDance, Flexport, Supabase and Zoho.

Typical use cases are turning a help article into a training video, converting a blog post into a marketing explainer, or animating onboarding material.

Pros include a low-effort document-to-video workflow, a chat-based editor that avoids timelines, the flexibility of either self-serve or fully managed production, and strong fit for internal and educational content.

Cons are that animated explainer styles may not suit every brand and the done-for-you studio path is less instant than pure self-serve. Knowlify offers a free tier with no credit card required plus paid and enterprise options. Pricing changes often, so check the official site for current plans.
