Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund, cancellation, and billing rules for featured listings, sponsorships, and subscriptions on AInexfinder.
Table of Contents
1. Purpose and Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains when and how refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments work for paid digital products offered by AInexfinder, including featured listings, sponsored placements, premium listings, advertising packages, and future subscriptions.
This Policy applies to purchases made for AInexfinder products. It does not apply to purchases you make from third-party AI tool vendors discovered via AInexfinder.
2. Merchant of Record (Paddle)
AInexfinder may use Paddle as Merchant of Record (MoR) for checkout, payments, tax calculation, invoicing, and certain refund processing.
When Paddle is MoR for your purchase:
- Payment is processed by Paddle.
- Your invoice is typically issued by Paddle.
- Applicable taxes may be collected by Paddle.
- Refunds, where approved, are generally processed by Paddle back to the original payment method.
- Subscription renewals (if any) are billed by Paddle according to the plan you selected.
Requesting a refund through AInexfinder support may still be required so we can verify service status and authorize the refund workflow with Paddle where applicable.

3. Definitions of Paid Products
| Product | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Featured listing | Paid enhancement of a tool listing’s visibility for a defined period or campaign |
| Sponsored placement | Paid placement in a designated inventory slot (homepage, category, etc.) |
| Premium listing | Bundled or elevated listing product as described at purchase |
| Advertising package | Custom or packaged media buy on AInexfinder |
| Subscription | Recurring paid plan for access, promotions, or services (when offered) |
| Digital service | Any non-physical product delivered online |
Exact deliverables, duration, and pricing appear at checkout or in your order confirmation.
4. General Refund Principles
- Digital nature. Products are digital services. Once delivery has begun (for example, a listing is live or an ad has started serving), refunds may be limited as described below, subject to mandatory consumer law.
- Fairness. We aim to resolve legitimate service failures promptly.
- Evidence. We may request order ID, Paddle receipt, account email, and a description of the issue.
- Timelines. Submit requests as soon as possible; delay may limit available remedies.
- Currency. Refunds are issued in the currency charged, subject to card network rules.
- No cash alternative for promotional credits unless required by law.
5. Featured Listings
5.1 Before activation
If you cancel before your featured listing is activated or made live, you may request a full refund of amounts paid for that unused featured period (less non-refundable third-party processing fees only if legally permitted and disclosed—otherwise full refund of purchase price).
5.2 After activation
Once a featured listing has gone live:
- Refunds are generally not available for change of mind, underperformance of traffic, or ranking expectations.
- If we fail to deliver the purchased featured period due to our material error, we will, at our option:
- Extend the featured period; or
- Provide a pro-rata refund for undelivered time; or
- Offer equivalent promotional credit.
5.3 Removal for policy violation
If we remove a featured listing because you violated our Terms, Advertising Policy, or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund is due for the remaining period.
6. Sponsored Placements
6.1 Before flight start
Cancellations requested before the sponsored flight start date may be refunded in full, subject to any custom insertion order (IO) terms that supersede this Policy for that deal.
6.2 After flight start
Once impressions have begun serving:
- Refunds for change of mind or campaign performance are generally not available.
- If we fail to deliver a material portion of purchased inventory due to our fault, we will make good with additional inventory, extend the flight, or provide a pro-rata refund/credit.
6.3 Creative rejection
If creatives are rejected for policy reasons, you may submit compliant replacements. Failure to provide compliant creatives by the flight date is not grounds for a refund after we have reserved inventory, except as required by law or an IO.
7. Premium Listings and Packages
Premium bundles are refundable under the same logic as their component parts (featured, sponsored, services). If a package has started delivery of any material component, refunds may be pro-rated only for undelivered components, at our reasonable discretion and subject to law.
8. Subscriptions
When subscriptions are offered:
8.1 Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal, as shown in your Paddle customer portal or account settings.
8.2 Cancellation
You may cancel future renewals at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal charge; it does not automatically refund the current period unless required by law or expressly stated in the plan.
8.3 Refunds for subscriptions
- Billing error (duplicate charge, incorrect amount): eligible for correction/refund.
- Service unavailable for a sustained period due to our fault: pro-rata credit or refund.
- Change of mind after digital access begins: generally not refundable, subject to cooling-off rights where applicable.
8.4 Free trials
If a free trial converts to paid, cancel before trial end to avoid charges. After conversion, standard subscription rules apply.
9. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
- Email hello@ainexfinder.com (and include legal@ainexfinder.com for disputes) with:
- Order / invoice / Paddle transaction ID
- Account email
- Product purchased
- Reason for request
- We review and respond within a reasonable time (target: 5 business days).
- Approved refunds are processed via Paddle (or the processor of record) to the original payment method.
- Card networks may take 5–15 business days (or longer) to post the credit.
You may also use Paddle’s customer payment portal tools where available for your order.
10. Cooling-Off and Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law (for example, EU consumer cooling-off rights for distance contracts, subject to exceptions for digital content once performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment of loss of withdrawal rights).
If you are a consumer entitled to a statutory cooling-off period:
- Contact us promptly;
- We will honor applicable rights;
- Where digital performance has begun with your consent, statutory exceptions may apply.
Business purchasers (B2B) are generally subject to the commercial terms of this Policy and any IO.
11. Non-Refundable Situations
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, refunds are not available for:
- Change of mind after activation/delivery has started
- Dissatisfaction with third-party AI tools discovered via AInexfinder
- Failure to achieve expected traffic, leads, rankings, or revenue
- Your violation of Terms or policies leading to removal
- Incorrect information you provided in submissions or creatives
- Currency conversion fees charged by your bank
- Promotional free products or complimentary upgrades
- Services fully delivered
12. Partial Refunds and Service Credits
Where a full refund is not appropriate, we may offer:
- Pro-rata refund for undelivered time/inventory
- Service credit toward future AInexfinder products
- Make-good inventory
Credits have no cash value except where converted to refund by agreement or law, and may expire if stated when issued.
13. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- Paid features may not activate or may be suspended
- We or Paddle may retry charges for subscriptions
- You remain responsible for amounts due for services already delivered
14. Billing Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error:
- Contact us before filing a chargeback, when possible.
- Provide transaction details.
- We will investigate in good faith with Paddle as needed.
15. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution. If a chargeback is reversed in our favor or found abusive, we may:
- Suspend accounts or listings
- Decline future purchases
- Recover costs to the extent permitted by law and processor rules
Legitimate fraud claims should be reported immediately to your bank and to hello@ainexfinder.com.
16. Taxes
When Paddle is MoR, Paddle typically calculates and collects applicable taxes and shows them at checkout. Refunds of tax follow the refund of the underlying purchase and applicable tax rules. AInexfinder does not provide tax advice.
17. Delivery of Digital Services
Digital products are delivered by enabling features in your account, publishing listings/placements, or providing agreed services online. Delivery is complete when the purchased feature is made available as described, not when third-party end users click your listing.
18. Changes to Orders
Downgrades mid-cycle are not guaranteed. Upgrades may be pro-rated as offered at purchase. Custom IOs control for agency or enterprise deals.
19. Abuse of Refund Process
Repeated frivolous refund requests or refund fraud may result in refusal of future refunds (where lawful), account suspension, and reporting to payment partners.
20. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date; prior purchases remain subject to the Policy in effect at purchase, except where law requires otherwise.
