Payment & Merchant of Record Terms

1. Purpose

These Payment & Merchant of Record Terms (“Payment Terms”) explain how payments for AInexfinder’s paid digital products work, including when Paddle acts as Merchant of Record (MoR).

They form part of your agreement with us when you purchase paid products, together with our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

2. Digital Products Only

AInexfinder sells digital services only, including without limitation:

• Featured listings
• Sponsored placements
• Premium listings
• Advertising packages
• Future subscriptions and related digital services

We do not sell physical products and do not ship goods.

3. Merchant of Record Notice (Paddle)

3.1 Role of Paddle

For many purchases, Paddle.com Market Ltd and/or its affiliates (“Paddle”) act as the Merchant of Record. That means:

1. Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction for payment, tax, and invoicing purposes.
2. Your payment is made to Paddle.
3. Paddle may handle VAT/GST/sales tax calculation, collection, and remittance where applicable.
4. Invoices and receipts for the transaction are typically issued by Paddle.
5. Subscription billing and renewals (when applicable) are processed by Paddle.
6. Certain refund operations are executed by Paddle after authorization consistent with our Refund Policy and Paddle’s processes.

3.2 AInexfinder’s role

AInexfinder remains responsible for:

• Providing the digital Service features you purchased (listing visibility, placements, etc.)
• Product support related to the AInexfinder platform
• Content and policy compliance on AInexfinder

3.3 Paddle’s terms

When you complete checkout via Paddle, you may also agree to Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms and privacy notice. Those terms govern the payment relationship with Paddle. In case of conflict regarding payment processing, tax invoicing, or card handling, Paddle’s applicable buyer terms control that payment relationship.

3.4 Why MoR matters

MoR models help global SaaS businesses handle cross-border tax and compliance. They also mean your card statement may show Paddle (or a Paddle descriptor) rather than “AInexfinder.”

5. Checkout Experience

Checkout may occur:

• On a Paddle-hosted checkout page or overlay
• Via payment links
• Through other Paddle-supported flows

You must provide accurate billing identity information. We and Paddle may decline transactions that appear fraudulent or high-risk.

6. Prices and Currency

• Prices are displayed at checkout and may be shown exclusive or inclusive of tax depending on location and configuration.
• Currency conversion fees charged by your bank are your responsibility.
• We may change list prices prospectively; changes do not affect already-completed one-time purchases. Subscription price changes follow Subscription Terms and notice requirements.

7. Taxes

When Paddle is MoR, taxes are handled through Paddle where applicable. Tax treatment depends on your location, product type, and tax rules. Tax lines on your Paddle invoice are authoritative for that transaction.

AInexfinder does not provide tax advice. Business customers are responsible for their own tax compliance outside the MoR invoice where relevant.

8. Invoices and Receipts

• Customers typically receive invoices from Paddle for MoR purchases.
• Keep your Paddle receipts for accounting.
• For questions about invoice content (tax ID, company name), use Paddle’s customer tools and contact AInexfinder support if product activation depends on invoice data.

9. Subscriptions and Renewals

If you purchase a subscription:

• Renewals are handled through Paddle on the billing interval you selected.
• You authorize recurring charges until cancellation.
• Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
• Manage payment methods via the Paddle customer portal when available.

10. Failed Payments

Failed or expired cards may cause:

• Failed renewal
• Suspension of paid features
• Retry attempts by Paddle

Update payment details promptly to avoid interruption.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Approved refunds for MoR transactions are generally processed by Paddle to the original payment method. Timing depends on card networks and banks.

Consumer laws may provide additional rights that this document does not reduce.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you dispute a charge:

1. Contact hello@ainexfinder.com first when possible so we can help resolve the issue.
2. Provide your Paddle transaction ID.
3. Unfounded chargebacks may lead to account or listing suspension.

Fraudulent charges should be reported to your bank and to us immediately.

13. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use payment methods you are authorized to use
• Not engage in payment fraud
• Provide accurate business/tax identity where requested for B2B checkout
• Not abuse refund or chargeback processes

14. Data Protection

• Paddle processes payment and billing data under its role as MoR / independent controller (as applicable).
• AInexfinder may receive limited order metadata to fulfill the product.

We do not store full payment card numbers on AInexfinder systems when Paddle handles checkout.

15. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe a purchase was unauthorized, notify your bank and email hello@ainexfinder.com with transaction details. We will cooperate with Paddle’s fraud processes as appropriate.

16. Changes to Payment Providers

We may add or change payment providers or MoR partners. Material changes will be reflected in these Payment Terms and at checkout. Existing completed transactions remain governed by the provider used at purchase.
