Coloring.app Review

What is Coloring.app?

app is an AI-powered platform that generates custom coloring pages and compiles them into printable books. Founded in January 2025, it lets users transform personal photographs into clean line-art coloring pages or create pages from descriptive text prompts like a wizard playing chess against a robot.

A guided wizard mode helps users, particularly children, design pages through themed selections, and a remix-and-edit feature lets people modify existing gallery pages for endless variations. Finished pages can be combined into professionally printed books with custom covers, with printing and shipping handled through the service.

It is aimed at parents, teachers, kids, and hobbyists who want personalized, screen-free coloring activities, and the platform is explicitly family-friendly and SFW, with privacy features such as no photo storage and an optional private creation mode.

Strengths include the kid-safe focus, the photo-to-coloring-page capability, the large community gallery of ready-made pages, and the custom book compilation and printing pipeline.

Weaknesses are that the free tier limits weekly creations, AI line art can occasionally produce uneven or overly complex outlines for young children, and physical book printing carries additional cost.

app offers a free tier with a few weekly custom creations and access to a large community library, plus premium credits, subscriptions, and per-book printing services for those who want more custom pages or physical books. Pricing changes often, so check the official site for current plans.
